COERR Extends Care and Support to Flood Victims in Ayutthaya Province

On 7 October 2026, the Catholic Office for Emergency Relief and Refugees (COERR), in collaboration with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Thailand and the COERR Volunteer Group of St. Peter’s Church, Sam Phran, Nakhon Pathom Province, delivered 300 relief kits to flood-affected families in the community of Christ the King Church, Ko Yai, Ayutthaya Province. The assistance was provided to families in Ban Nuea, Ban Tai, Ban Klang, and nearby villages to help ease their hardship and reduce the burden on families affected by the flooding.

The relief kits were not merely essential supplies to help alleviate the immediate difficulties faced by the affected families. They also represented “bags of compassion and encouragement,” reflecting care, solidarity, and unity with our brothers and sisters as they face difficult times.

COERR would like to offer its encouragement and stand alongside all those affected by the floods. In times of hardship, our compassion and willingness to share can become a source of hope for one another.

May God grant encouragement, strength, and hope to all families affected by the floods.
