COERR Volunteer Activities – July 2026

In July 2026, COERR volunteer groups from various parishes jointly organized the following activities:

1. COERR Volunteers in Northeastern Thailand, the Thare-Nongsaeng Mission Network, and Ubon Ratchathani Diocese Gather to Share Experiences and Renew Their Commitment to Love and Service

On 20 July 2026, the Thare-Nongsaeng Mission volunteer group, together with the COERR volunteer group of Ubon Ratchathani Diocese, organized a meeting to review and follow up on their activities. The meeting provided an opportunity for discussion and knowledge sharing, with representatives from each volunteer group presenting the progress of activities supported by COERR Foundation, as well as summarizing their work over the past year.

Bishop Emeritus Joseph Pibul Visithonchai, who played an important role in promoting the establishment of the volunteer groups, as well as providing encouragement, guidance, and direction for their work to sustainably share love and service with poor and disadvantaged people in society, presided over the meeting.

2. Quarterly Review Meeting – Moving Forward through Cooperation and Togetherness

On 18 July 2026, the Mae Hong Son Zone 4 Volunteer Network held its second-quarter review meeting at the St. Francis of Assisi Wisdom Learning Centre in Khun Yuam District, Mae Hong Son Province. Representatives from various volunteer groups attended the meeting to discuss, exchange experiences, and present the results of their activities.

The meeting was chaired by Rev. Fr. Prapas Saithanwanawat, who also provided guidance, reflections, and direction for volunteer work, offering encouragement and practical guidance to the volunteers in carrying out their mission.

In addition to reviewing progress against the planned objectives, the meeting served as a platform for strengthening relationships, sharing experiences and knowledge, and renewing the spirit and motivation of all volunteers to continue their service for the common good.

3. Joining Together in Love and Service – Creating Smiles for Children in the Community

Rev. Fr. Anucha Chaophraeknoi and Sr. Narinporn Singyai worked together to revive the volunteer activities of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish (Mae Phuech). The renewed activities began on 22 July 2026 at the Mae Phuech Lahu village community pavilion, Khlong Lan Phatthana Subdistrict, Khlong Lan District, Kamphaeng Phet Province. The event was filled with happiness, fun, and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The activities included balloon stomping, musical chairs, doll painting, and a lucky draw. Food stalls were also provided, offering fried meatballs, drinks, and ice cream for participants to enjoy together.

The spirit of “Love and Service,” demonstrated through the collaboration of the parish priest, sister, COERR volunteers, and local community members, created a beautiful and memorable atmosphere. It also provided important encouragement for the continued development of the parish’s volunteer activities.
